(Statement from Rep. Antonio Delgado)

RHINEBECK, NY -- Rep. Antonio Delgado has won re-election to represent New York’s 19th Congressional District. The victory is a testament to his hard work and dedication to serving every constituent. "The people of New York’s 19th Congressional District have made their voices heard and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to serve again," Rep. Delgado said. "With all election districts reporting, I am leading by over 7,000 votes and the data shows that our margin of victory will grow once absentee ballots are accounted for." With approximately 60,000 absentee ballots left to be counted across the district, the majority (51.22%) were cast by registered Democrats, versus a minority (22.20%) cast by registered Republicans. The people of NY-19 re-elected Delgado because he listens to their concerns, fights for the issues they care about, and achieves meaningful results. In his first term in Congress, Delgado held 47 town halls, including three town halls in each of NY-19’s eleven counties in 2019. He also formed four locally based, bipartisan advisory committees to hear directly from upstate veterans, farmers, healthcare workers, and small business owners. Additionally, Delgado opened five offices for constituent services across the expansive district: in Kingston, Delhi, Hudson, Oneonta, and Liberty. In his second term, Rep. Delgado will remain committed to serving the public with accessibility and accountability.  And he will continue to seek out common ground in order to deliver results for the people of upstate New York. Delgado’s work will build on his legislative accomplishments, which include introducing more than 40 bills, over half of which are bipartisan, and 18 of which passed the House, as well as three that have been signed into law.

District Attorney - Democrat Meagan Galligan vs Republican Frank LaBuda

10:20 pm - Galligan holds a lead of 2,813 votes over LaBuda. There are 6,800 absentee ballots to be counted on November 10.

State Senate District 42 - Democrat Jen Metzger vs Republican Mike Martucci

Democratic State Senator Jen Metzger, trailing Republican challenger Mike Martucci by 9,110 votes at midnight, will need to rely on absentee ballots to pull out a victory. She said late Tuesday that there are 25,000 absentee ballots that need to be counted and believes they are "overwhelmingly from Democratic voters."

11:55 pm - "It has been my joy and honor to serve the 42nd Senate District over the last two years. It’s so important that we make sure every vote is counted. There are about 25,000 absentee ballots to count, and we know that they are overwhelmingly from Democratic voters. We expect the process of counting absentees to be an orderly process that will take several weeks, and we will patiently await the final results. I hope to have the opportunity to continue to fight for the communities I represent."

10:50 pm - Metzger holds at lead of 1,596 votes across the 42nd District.

But, there are still a lot of votes that have not been reported n Orange County, Martucci's home district. Martucci holds a 3,961-vote lead in Sullivan.

10:05 pm - In Sullivan only, Martucci holds a 3,055 vote lead in Sullivan with 54 of 68 election districts reporting.

Congressional District 19 - Democrat Antonio Delgado vs Republican Kyle Van De Water

10:45 pm - Delgado projected to win in 19th Congressional District. He holds a 50-vote lead in Sullivan. Overall, Delgado holds a 15,197 vote lead. But Ulster, with the largest population in the District, still has many election districts that have not reported.

9:55 pm - Delgado leading Van De Water in Sullivan with almost half of districts reporting

10:10 pm - Lindsey Graham re-elected to U.S. Senate in South Carolina.

9:15 pm - Dems holds House, expand majority by at least five seats, according to Fox News.

BIDEN VS TRUMP

9:45 pm - Trump winning vote in Sullivan County with almost half of the local precincts reporting. (Although Biden has already won the state, these numbers are interesting markers for other races).

9 pm - Texas too close to call. Georgia too close to call.

8:35 pm -Trump has popular vote lead but Biden with electoral vote lead by 91-73

8:30 - Trump takes lead in Florida with 88 percent of vote in.

8:05 pm - Trump vs Biden neck and neck in Florida.

8 pm update:

--President Donald Trump has won Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Tennessee, while Democrat Joe Biden has won Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey and Rhode Island, according to The Associated Press. Fox News called Missouri for Trump.

-Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has been re-elected to the U.S. Senate in Kentucky.
