Retired Town of Fallsburg Justice and former Village of Woodridge trustee Isaac Kantrowitz - who was indicted last August on a misdemeanor charge after striking and killing two teenagers while behind the wheel in Rock Hill on June 2, 2019 - is scheduled to appear virtually before State Supreme Court Justice Stephan Schick on Monday, March 1.

News of the pre-trial court conference was sent this afternoon from Senior Assistant District Attorney Lisa Bondarenka to the families of the victims, Devin Zeininger, 16, and Justin Finkel, 14.

At a news conference last August, District Attorney (then Acting DA) Meagan Galligan told the public that Kantrowitz was traveling at 62 mph in a 45 mph zone on Glen Wild Road moments before striking the teenagers.

But a New York State Police accident reconstruction report obtained by The SullivanTimes affirmed that the speed was actually clocked at 70 mph five seconds before impact.
