STATE POLICE: KANTROWITZ DID NOT APPLY BRAKES & NO STEERING INPUT 3.5 SECONDS BEFORE HITTING TEENS

Updated: Jan 7, 2022

BREAKING: New York State Police investigators, in an affidavit for a search warrant in November 2019, stated that Isaac Kantrowitz did not apply the brakes of his Honda before striking and killing two teenagers on June 2, 2019, nor did he try to steer away from them 3.5 seconds before impact. Michael McGuire, who at the time was County Court judge and who is now the County Attorney, signed a search warrant on November 7, 2019. That was five months after the accident in Rock Hill. At press time, it's unclear why the search warrant was not executed earlier.
